Stats -> Hmmm...

Alright, with the help from guildies, general knowledge and other players I have learned this about each stat...

STR -> 1.3 physical attack per stat point
REC -> 5 HP + 1 Defense per stat point + Ability to hold aggro on mobs
INT -> 1.1 Magical Attack per stat point + 0.22 Resistance per point
WIS -> 5 MP + 1 Resistance + 0.22 Magical Attack per stat + Magical Accuracy + Healing power
DEX -> Evasion + 0.26 attack per point + Accuracy + 5 SP per point
LUK -> 0.2% chance of crit + Shooting Attack + 1 crit damage + crit evasion

What I'd like to know is...
-Other things added by stats
-Percentage and points added by everything
-Etc.

If I'm not mistaken, 1 wis also increases heals by 2, so a player who is NM and full wis will have 12 higher heals every level (5 + 1 passive -- 6 * 2).

Dex adds to accuracy as well as adding to damage (5 dex is about same damage as one strength, similar to wisdom and int).

Also, rec confers some ability to attain and hold monster agro in PvE. Not sure how the math but a defender/rec mage/whatever gets agro easily off of someone with no rec.

Finally, one other point you missed is that int adds to magic resist. It's not major, but it's there. It's probably about the same amount wisdom adds to magic attack.

DEX also adds to Stamina Points (yellow bar) ; think it's the same as the others 1:5 ratio
WIS also increases magical attack accuracy ; I've actually missed with a spell, didn't say failed it outright missed

I can confirmed that. I did the math and 1 WIS point is equivalent to 2 HP heal.

I have also found something strange, that even my (Oracle) REC is just a fraction of a Guardian of the same level; but the fact that I did put stat points into REC, enticed the mobs into attacking me after 1 or 2 hits. Fault not the Guardian; he's one of the best players in town.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

It's definately true. My wife plays a 5.5 rec per level rec mage and if we party a defender and she nukes mobs once she ends up tanking.... not that she minds.

Alright, your wife is able to take aggro because he's a mage and has a lot of rec. That rec pulls the mob's attention and the spell is what grabs it from the start. I know that much.

I was thinking that dex would be the same percentage as luck but then I thought back to my fighter there...
I was thinking about when I was tanking in Skulleron on greens... The mobs there are pretty dang hard but still, it was basically...

HIT - Crit
HIT - Crit
HIT
MISS
HIT

20% chance evasion or so...

While on greens in map 3 it's more like...

MISS
MISS
MISS
HIT
Mob dead...

A boss however in that general area hits basically...

MISS
HIT
HIT
MISS
MISS
HIT
HIT
HIT
MISS
HIT/MISS

40-60% chance at evasion I find sometimes... o.o

So Dex could be similar to luck in levels of evasion... But it's untested.

Meanwhile on blue mobs it's like 60-80% chance as they're weaker and on whites it's 80-95% generally but they still hit on occasion.

Some one wanna test this?

PS: I probably got 200 Dex on my fighter with lapis and all.

About Oracle's REC:

One more thing I have observed, is:
When the mob(s) are attacking a particular person, and he/she does not attack back (ie. idling) - and I simply heal that person (did not make any attacks on the mobs), the mobs would shift their attention towards me shortly.

Again, this could be due to my REC, but it is funny to note that heals can (in a way), pull aggro as well. I was standing at the maximum distance of my heal range, so it is definitely no way I could have aggro those mobs by proximity.

But this only happens if the person is not attacking. If he/she is attacking the mobs constantly while I heal, this doesn't occur.

What is the maximum number of stats you can have for each mode?

Please include all stats gained from level, pvp awards, and the +1 you get each level based on your class, plus anything else i may have missed, but only what is added permenantly to your stats. (I am not talking about lapis. =P)
