Hello Aeria games. I used to play a game called Darkness and Light which was hosted by a company called N-log soft. This game had so much potential, the community was slowly growing, but it didnt grow large enough to keep the game alive due to LACK OF ADVERTISEMENT. I heard from a whole lot of people that this company, Aeria games, was really good. Recently I've seen that you have brought back one of the older games called Cronous and is now popular becase of this company. You guys are great at hosting games.

So let me get to the point. I see that Aeria games has a lot of different types of games, racing, sports, fantasy mmorpg etc etc. But one of the type of categories that Aeria is lacking is Online Stragety.

Have you thought about hosting a Online Stragety game? Well since Darkness And Light is now gone, with no one else to host, would Aeria games give it a shot? It is really a great game with a lot of potential, and i think if Aeria was to host this, you would lure in a bunch of online stragety-type players. I know a lot of people are interested in these types of games because Darkness and Light is similar to the custom game called DOTA on WC3, which is HIGHLY POPULATED.

I think this game would really be successful if it was hosted by a much greater company. N-log soft did not do a well job at supporting its games and players. Plus N-log soft is now in debt i hear, from wikipedia. You could probably buy Darkness And Light off them with ease. What do you think? Would you give it a shot? DOTA FANS, THIS IS A GAME FOR YOU!!
DAL and Dota are very similar!
Why not just play Dota? Because Darkness and Light is not a custom game like dota, DAL is its own Game. Therefore having a lot more features.

Never played DAL?
No worries, It doesn't take long to learn how to play the game. Plus DAL players are really friendly to beginners and they can teach you.

Darkness And Light Features which dota does not have:

- In game lobby where players can chat and view games in progess.
- Has a practice mode where you can try all heros.
- Guilds can be made.
- Has a ranking system which keeps track of wins/losses.
- Players can create private rooms for friends or Guild vs Guild.
- A dishonor system. Basically Keeps track of leavers/laggers so if you dont them in your game. Just kick them out.
- If a player has a certain amount of dishonor, they cannot host.
- Before each game starts, there is a character selection screen and the loading screen. Players can chat and talk about stragety for a limited time before the big battle during both.
- Unlike Dota, DAL has 4 maps.
- 2 Different game types. The Dota-style pvp, and PVE.
In PvE you and your teamates ( up to 12 players ) have to team up and think of strageties to go against the highly overpowered AI.
- In game, each team has a Boss monster called "Deity".
To keep games from going from hours and hours, the Bosses from each side would be summoned after 30min-1hour ( depends on how long the players want it).
However if players do not like this style, they can turn it off and play with no deity, where players could play the Dota-style destroy the enemy base with unlimited time.
-After each battle is done, "Cra" ( which is the currency name for DAL) is awarded to the winners. You can use Cra to buy special items and new characters.

The game looks a bit slow but I could probably get into it.

Probably becuase of the dudes comp, but trust me if people can run dota, they can run this. It doesnt have high system requirements.

If you're talking about the characters movement speed he was probably slowed down by another player, plus he doesnt have his combat boots on (Combat boots = more movement speed)

I used to be madly addicted to this game when it was back with GnG. Great game to play with your friends.

I was addicted to this game too, now I have no other games to play but DotA, except DotA doesn't give me as much thrill as DAL ever did. This is the only game that got me off my chair and start yelling at my monitor cause I got a kill.

Nahh, game isn't slow at all. It all depends on your hero and equips. Also the good thing is, all heroes are equal none of them are overpowered. It's not a game where you can get picked on by the "PRO'S", as SUPREME said, there's a ranking system and people can actually choose which game to join, can't start until everyone is ready.

I'd love to play this game again, it'd be awesome to see a game like DAL back up and even more populated than before.

i am writing this to tell u that DAL is one of the best strategy games such as DOTA but it has better thing than DOTA, so i am writing this to plz host a game of Darkness and Light, there will be many people playing this game and this will boost up the amount of people playing this game. xD xD xD xD plz consider to post this game!!!! xD

I miss this game too, if Aeria hosts it then I'll definitely play it for as long as I can. I really think this is the best game ever.
