Well if you can answer either one then this is the event for you. This is your chance to play the older brother or sister role to a new player who needs your help!

From February 5 - 12, if you would like to sign up for this event, post the following information in this format:

Please note which you would like to be; a Big Brother/Sister or a student. If there are more mentors then there are students, you may be assigned more than one student.
I will randomly assign you into pairs (1 Mentor:1 Student). You will be forum PM'd your partner.
After the registration period is over, you have from February 13 - 19 to get to your partner and teach/learn things from them.

Students, if you think your Big Brother/Sister is doing a good job, send me a forum PM with a list of things that they have done to help you.
Mentors, if your student does this because you have been doing your job as a big Brother/sister correctly, then your name will be entered into a raffle to win 20 orbs of speed and 20 gift melons. Only 4 people will be drawn from the raffle.

Rules:
1. You may only sign up once. Anyone caught cheating by entering more than once will be disqualified.
2. If you are a mentor, you must help them in order to get your name entered into the raffle.
3. If you are a student, your mentor must be helping you in order for you to enter their name into the raffle. You must provide at least 3 different things in detail that they have done to help you - send this to me via forum PM.
4. To be a Big Brother/Sister, you must be over level 35.
5. To be a student, you must be under level 25.

I suggest we match Students to Mentors to the same "class"? Since I don't know much about casters so I would be fairly useless to a caster student.

Thats why I keep saying I'm a noob cause I don't know everything. I'm just trying to make sure I will be able to help the person that I get assigned to.

I agree with Lanfear's suggestion. Sure you can know tons of things and just point and click them in the right direction, but if you want to mentor someone it's probably best you have some field experience ta boot. Simply knowing a wikipedia link or a discussion on something won't help a player to the fullest extend. If you could help specialize the students and mentors it'll no doubtingly be a big help to the students.

This is so so so unfair! I want an "onii-chan!" type of character ;-;

I wanna be going "Onii-chan~ what is that sharp looking object sticking through your body?"
Or like "ah ah, I am sorry, my maragion misfired... Onii-chan sorry sorry"
Or or, "buuu, Onii-chan" *humph* "buy me ice creams, buy me buy me!" (never mind that ice creams ain't in games yet, or buy me can lead to a lot of misunderstanding)

Seeing that I am way over the level limit for a student, and have no desire to be a ne-sama for someone in game. I will apologize and skip this event.

Oh, if you are wondering about the full "onii-chan" business, its an ongoing joke with my character Draa. Couldn't resist pipping in when I saw the "big-brother" part.
