Hello Everyone,

Some of you may have met GM MuRyon while playing Twelve Sky. He is an expert at Twelve Sky and is visiting Aeria Games this month to share his vast knowledge of the game. GM MuRyon has asked me to post some tips for him aimed at helping new players learn Twelve Sky. Below you will find his message.

Hello everyone, it is nice to meet you. I am a GM MuRyon. I really appreciate the help we are receiving testing Twelve Sky during beta.

For all new players I would like to give a few small tips:

The main quality of 12 sky is that of speedy battles:

-The first skill I recommend you learn is the one which enables you to run fast. The Second skill I recommend you learn is the ranged attack skill. Using those two skills at the basic level will allow you to quickly go up 30 levels.

-After you do that, next enter the Amhang valley where players between level 30 and 49 do battle. When you go there you experience the first 12 sky battle among factions. Every hour you will see the notice from the system about the Amhang valley battle.

Here are some of the items you can get when you hunt mobs:

Enhancement Items:

-Purple Jade Holy Stone, Red Jade Holy Stone
These two stones are used to enhance your items level.

-Tin, Dark Steel, Black Steel, Steel Of Eternity
These materials can be used to enhance your items quality.

-You can visit smiths and clothing shops to enahance your items
Be careful, you can break your items while trying to upgrade them. Good luck.

Treasures:

-Lucky ticket
Using this item (ctrl + left-click) you can get unique or rare items

-Fortune Pouch
Using this item (ctrl + left-click) you will receive money (100,000 ~ 200,000 silver)

Quests:

-Once you reach level 14, you can then take the first quest.

-Your conversation with the NPCs will give you the information you need to do the quest.

-They will provide you with the exact location of where you need to go.

-As you go up higher in levels, more quests will become available to you.

-Doing the quests will teach you the story of 12 sky.

Other Useful Information:

-A quick way to return to the starting area is to use this command: /return
But beware, using this will cost you 1% of your current EXP

-If you are under level 30, you can reset your stat points at no charge
To do this, find the NPC St. Upholder at your faction's starting area
To reset your stats, choose Stat Initialization from the NPC's menu

what? shiny is only goin to be here for one month im gonna miss him

Can we get more info on what the red/purple holy stones actually do? Do they up an items level and stats, so that it should probably be only used on a rare that you are outleveling? or can it turn a non unique/rare into a unique/rare/elite?

hmm i tried using a purple holy stone but wont allow me to drag it...

Where do I go once i hit lvl 30 to go into the battles? i dont see any portals

The portal is aginst the east Wall of the 2nd map, about in the middle, I found it on accident... or I think thats the one (I got the "only 30-49 can enter here" thing)

Try talking to the Blacksmith and upgrading it there, if your doing something he can upgrade. The armor person will upgrade armor.

The thing about this is that it isn't 1% experience, it's 1% of your current experience, it's worded kind of funny. So if you have 10%, you only lose about .1% exp.

Good catch. I've edited it to say current XP

what quest can you take when you first start? i didnt get one till i was 14
