We have received the content on our test servers and have begun the vigorous Quality Assurance (QA) process. We are all very excited about this MAJOR content update for all of our favorite MMORPG!

So here we are. Officially into our 2nd week of testing the EP2 content =) and let me start by saying WOW there is a whole lot of features to test and wrap our collective heads around. From the crafting to the new skills to the... well you all know most of the other content by now =).

So we've already found a good number of bugs that we have forwarded to the developers. I don't have any action screenshots or videos for you all yet but those are in the works .

But, not to leave everyone empty handed I thought I'd touch on something that is going to hit everyone from the first minute you load up your client after the EP2 content... the login screen =).

Well thats all for today. Just to give you all a little peak into what to expect next, we are in the process of testing all of the new skills for the existing classes. If you're interested in what kind of cool spells and hard hitting strikes will be available in EP2 check back soon.

So it's been about a week since our last update and we are still just starting to scratch the surface of all of the new content. Right now our testing team is working on all of the new skills for the existing classes.

Before I get into these new skills I'd like to quickly talk about levelcap. There IS going to be a levelcap increase with EP2. We've had extensive talks with the developers and unfortunately the levelcap is a necessary part of EP2. The exact levelcap we will be getting is still under review however we are expecting 160-165 to be the final number. More about this to come later =)

Now lets talk about the new skills. Each class will be getting at least 5 new skills (with the exception of the sorcerer who will be getting 4). Exact requirements and effects are still under development/testing so I can't disclose any of that right now. What we do have for you is a video showcasing a few skills from the Titan, Healer and Mage classes.

Let's talk a little about WASD movement. A number of ppl have asked about this feature, i'll do my best to answer the FAQ:

Q: What if I like my click to move, will I now be forced to use WASD?
A: Click away my friend click away. You will have the opportunity to use either WASD or click or both. I think most players will find a combination of both movement types to be ideal for PVP and PVE play.

Q: What about the stuff currently bound to WASD? How will I see my skills!!
A: The keys have been remapped for EP2 and actually make a little more sense now. For example inventory is... "I" instead of "E" which never made sense anyway. We'll release a full list of the newly mapped keys as soon as they are finalized.

We are waiting on our next big patch for EP2 from the developers before we can ramp back up our testing. As soon as we get the patch get ready for a flurry of EP2 goodness .

Episode 2 release date: 19 November 2009!

It's been a long time coming but the EP2 release will be here in a few days. Before you know it you'll be marching around Ascadia (the new continent, not Iris) slaying the dark minions of Eres. Early next week (Monday or Tuesday) we will be releasing an updated version of the LC Website. With the updated website will come a guide to EP2 that will answer all of your questions.

We're all very excited about EP2 and the HUGE amount of new content that comes with it. I'd like to give a special thanks to the GS testers without whom EP2 would not be in the shape it is today.
