Cornwell's Seal map

or "where's Asmo?". Added Dungeon Map Kit!
Many people are asking the way around their first dungeon in trade chat, hope this will help them out.

    Notes
  • Most map marks (except for portals and bosses) only indicate the rooms where appropriate mobs or items can be found and not their exact location or quantity.
  • Mobs may wander off to or spawn in corridors, only mobs found in long corridors are indicated on the map.

I'd like to bring more dungeon maps, but I need help from someone who still has access to certain dungeons (such as Pharos) and is high enough LVL to move there freely without being hurt too much.

What I'd need is a some kind of sketch of a map showing the rooms shape and position relative to other rooms. On top of it I'd need coordinates of key points, such as room walls, corridor entrances and turns (press H in game to turn on coordinates display), I guess only X and Z will suffice for the most maps.

For example, I've made this sketch for the map above:

(the top number of a pair is an X and the other is Z coordinate)

It'd also be cool to keep notes of the mobs in each room, but I think most players will get away with just boss positions Smile

Thx for map

Big thx to you Carbofos for this map.
If you made it yourself can you post blank map image. So other people could do such maps too. Just a screen cap without any info. THX

ok Smile

Shaiya Dungeon Map Kit

Includes 3 textures, for background, rooms and walls (1019x1019px).

How to make a map:

To create a map just place textures on top of each other and erase parts that should not be visible Smile

How to make a good map:

To make a precise map, you need to measure rooms' coordinates first. Draw a sketch of a map showing the rooms shape and position relative to other rooms. Go through each room with your position displayed (H hotkey) and take notes of key points, such as room walls, corridor entrances and turns, I guess X and Z coordinates will suffice for the most maps.

For example, I've made this sketch for the Cornwell's Seal map:

(the top number of a pair is an X and the other is Z coordinate)

Using these coordinates you can create a precise sketch:

This way you'll have the areas you want apply textures to.

It'd also be cool to keep notes of the mobs in each room, but I think most players will get away with just boss positions Smile
