Yes! Finally somebody is making a guide for this. I wanted to give back to the community in some way special; how better to do it than with a guide to one of *the only guild-rewarding quests*?
Although they aren't very difficult AT ALL, they are quite tedious.
For every 1 quest you complete, the Eversun Elder will give you a random~ish amount of gold. The amount increases with the difficulty of the items collected, but does not follow a strict trend.
For every 5th quest completed, you will receive some personal fame. You are also given the option to collect a reward, or work toward a better one (do the latter). If you choose to continue, the Eversun Elder will reward you with praise and some more fame, which gets increasingly larger the further you are into your "set". You will also contribute 1 or 2 fame to the guild--the more the guild has, THE HIGHER THE GUILD RANKS! ^^
For every 25th quest, you will receive a large amount of fame and a special reward. The reward is usually a recipe. In the case of some people, 5 extra item slots (uber helpful!). This also ends a "set". For each "set" you complete, you contribute 3 fame to the guild! After completing the last mission, you must wait 24 hours before starting again on another quest from the Eversun Elder.
Guild Fame Contributions follow this trend:
Quest Number || Personal Fame || Guild Fame
5 || 10 || 1
10 || 20 || 1
15 || 40 || 2
20 || 80 || 2
25 || 160 || 3
*** I honestly believe that the "Fighting Chance" is really a modifier on item drop rate. When it says Slight Luck, quest items won't come as often as they do when you have Average Luck. On the other hand, Super Luck or Strong Luck will greatly increase your chances of such drops.
This is an untested theory and there is no proof to support it. ***
There are 4 types of quests that the Eversun Elder will offer:
Medicinal Materials Gathering-Consists mostly of collecting 20 food items like soybeans and tangerines. Kill for these, unless you're rich.
Tangerines: Get them from Forest Kuku Eggs right outside Eversun City. This is your only option.
Soybeans: Many monsters drop these. The best would be Greedy Rats in the Inn Basement. That way you can gain a little extra xp and some bonus items for the rat quest. You can also collect Ancient Copper Coins from Greedy Rats, which can be pawned off for antiques and then sold for 300g each, or saved for an Ingredients Materials Gathering Quest. The Inn Basement is frequently crowded however, making it extremely difficult to kill a few rats without ks'ing somebody else. The Farrell Crypt is a less crowded option here, but you miss out on the quest.
Wobbly Jelly: Kill Globs and Globby Globs under the well for them. They're only level 9, so you should be able to kill them very quickly. If you have an AoE, by all means use it!
Lotus Seed: Only Pupus (regular) and Hedgehogs drop these. Hedgehogs drop these quite often, but they have a skill that disables all of your attacks, skills, and magic. Pupus, on the other hand, have a sub-par drop rate for these and are spaced out quite a bit. Both monsters are located just outside Eversun City.
Dried Lizard: You can get these from any of the lizards in Copper Horn Mountain. I find that the Lil' Lidded Lizards have the best drop rate out of the 3 lizards however.
Sugar Cane: Pupus (regular) and Forest Kuku Eggs both drop these. Their combined spawn means that their decently close together. You can't get Sugar Cane from any other mob and it would be pointless to single out only Pupus or only Kukus for the drop, so just drop an aoe here and there and you'll get your items soon enough. Pupus and Forest Kuku Eggs will also drop Lotus Seeds and Tangerines respectively so double/triple whammy there.
Pearly Frogspawn: You can only get these from Pearly Frogs in Canute Canal (South Eversun). The spawn is quite dense, so you shouldn't have to move very far to go from one to another. Good luck.
Ingredients Collection Mission-Consists of collecting 20 random non-alchemy items. Kill for these, unless you're rich.
Pupu Feathers: Only Pupu monsters will drop these. (Uhm...duh?) Wild Pupus are your best bet for this item. They are the lowest level monster to drop them, making them very easy to kill, and they come in fairly large groups. Dairy Pupu Dadas will also drop these, but they take a while longer to beat down and their spawn is quite spread out.
Ancient Copper Coins: Greedy Rats are number one here. They drop soybeans and are associated with the rat quest in the Inn Basement. The Inn Basement is frequently crowded however, making it extremely difficult to kill a few rats without ks'ing somebody else. The Farrell Crypt is a less crowded option here, but you miss out on the quest. Zombies and Demonic Zombies over at the Mortuary also drop these though.
Spider Thread: Kill Sombre Zombies for these. Spiders and Itsy Bitsys also drop Spider Thread (makes sense huh?). They have an entire floor devoted to them, their spawn is very dense, and they are impossibly easy, but their drop rate is uncomfortably low. They do, however, drop Cow Cords and Red Silk Threads more often than other monsters. Sombre Zombies will drop Spider Thread at a better-than-average rate, but they are significantly harder than the Spiders and Itsy Bitsys. Sombre Zombies tend to aggro you in swarms of 3 to 5, and their special technique "The Grudge" will lower your defense, which can lead to a lot of hurt when you're being swarmed.
Burial Band: Best choice here are Little Eyes in the Farrell Crypt as they drop burial bands almost exclusively. Don't be deceived by their lower level as they have a very strong magical attack that can quickly send you back to Eversun. President Pupu Corpses in the Inn Basement also drop these.The only problem you will find is that they won't drop the Burial Band very often making the collection of these quite a chore.
Bear Wood Carvings: Wild Flying Pupus are your best friend here. They are heavily concentrated around Canute Canal and you will never run out of monsters to kill. They drop them at an average rate, but you'll never have to stop, thus making up for the mediocrity. Toxic Trunks also drop these, but they're not nearly as abundant as Wild Flying Pupus, nor is they're drop rate any better.
Wild Dog Gang Badge: You only have two options here. Baby Bow-Wows and Bad Baby Bow-Wows. Their drop rates seem to be pretty low too. Good luck...
Pacifier: You have a very wide choice for these. Batlings, Pearly Tadpoles, Dairy Pu Mama, and Dariy Pu Dada. I would go with either Batlings or Pearly Tadpoles depending on your level as Pearly Tadpoles have a magic attack that may destroy you at early levels. Both Batlings and Pearly Tadpoles are plentiful and relatively dense in spawn so they're good for aoe'ing.
Apron: Get these from either Female Vampire Bats in Canute Canal or Hulu Bamboo over at Placid Plains. Female Vampire Bats have a nasty long range magic attack AND they tend to swarm you. Be careful.
Building Materials Gathering-Consists of collecting a single gathering item in either refined or unrefined form. Better off buying these at stalls.
Since all of these items are acquired in the same manner (gathering), I will only list some examples of such items.
Apple Wood
Maple Lumber
Blue Fragment
Red Powder
Glass
Sandstone Quartz
Seawater
Down
Salt
Party Member Gathering-Consists of creating a party matching the specifications given. Shout for these

.
These quests are by far the easiest, but easily the most annoying. People sometimes just decide that they don't have the patience to wait for you any longer, so they just leave your party causing you to go find a replacement in addition to whatever else you still needed. Sometimes people ignore your shouts and just don't come at all. The best tip I can give is to invite anybody within immediate proximity of the Eversun Elder and anybody who looks like they're approaching the area. Also, memorize your height, ( it's really not hard at all) and judge other people's heights accordingly.
For example: My character is 204cm. If I ever need a "tall' person (above 175cm) I can stand next to them and judge it that way. If they are taller than I am then they will for sure be above 175cm. If they are only a little shorter than I am, they most likely are still above 175cm. The reverse works as well for "short" people.
A few examples of parties you may be required to find:
Party of 4, 5, or 6 (INcluding yourself)
D-cup or larger (EXcluding yourself)
No or [Number] _____ Race (EXcluding yourself)
No or [Number] _____ Class (EXcluding or INcluding yourself)
Same or Different Gender
Notes:
Any combination of these may appear. For example: "A party of 6 with none sharing the same class as you" or "A party of 5 with 3 of same gender as you and 1 must be Sylph".
Numbers are specific. If the quest is to find a party of 4, you must only have a party of 4. If you are asked for 1 female, you can only have 1 female. You are always excluded from these numbers.
HP Control-Consists of reducing your hp past a certain percentage. I believe it is always below 10%.
There! I've made a guide for the Eversun Elder Quests. You now have NO reason not to do these quests and support your awesome guild!
Mod Edit: Since BBCode doesn't have tables, I edited the table to something similar.
